An evening you are asked to, not sold.
Secret Club Society is a small society that meets a few times a year at a table. Black tie and masks. The room holds a hundred and fifty. Every seat plays for a charity, and the charity is named before the first hand is dealt.
Membership is by invitation. If someone has given you this address, you are welcome to ask.

A member puts your name forward. Mark writes back within a week. There is no list to join and no fee to ask.
The evening
One room, a few tables, a set number of seats. Play begins at nine. The venue is given to members the day before.
The cause
Each evening names one charity. What the tables raise goes to it, and the total is published on this site.
The First Table
- February 2027, to be confirmed
- Auckland
- Black tie. Masks on arrival.
- Disclosed to members
- Black tie and masks. Masks stay on until the host says otherwise.
- The venue is disclosed to members only, the day before.
- No phones at the table. No photographs of faces, anywhere.
- Every table plays for the named charity. What is raised is published.
